Mid-sized businesses find it hardest to attract

Mid-sized businesses find it hardest to attract

 5 Jul 2019

Those who attended our MSBLeaders event a few weeks ago with @Sarah McKenna were involved in our chat about attracting the right people at the right time which as a link to their pace of growth vs brand in the market vs bigger players with established USP’s.

With an MSB often there is a need to get people to take a leap of faith & attracting people not willing to take a risk in roles that often aren’t fully defined – having testimonials, showing strong employee value propositions and leading by example will help open people’s minds, & for the right people interested in shaping their role this is music to their ears!!

Having a recruitment plan & processes in place that balances social media & direct sourcing with trusted advisors, such as Tindall Perry, is critical. We can work with the the business to shape their requirements and then find the right people who will help both long or short term business strategy.

As a group the MSBLeaders in the room recognised that some were experiencing issues attracting candidates, had experienced issues in recruitment but had found a good balance, or are about to embark on a period of change….not always easy BUT with a clear plan in place, positive attitude and variety of routes to market these MSB’s will be successful.
